MEMS on MID - Microsystems-based refinement of three-dimensional carrier systems

The aim of the project is to establish a research, competence, business, education and training profile in the field of assembly and joining technology at the OvGU Magdeburg. The focus of the regional innovation, cooperation and transfer network between science and industry is on innovative processes in microsystems technology and packaging technology for the development, production and finishing of three-dimensional injection-molded circuit carriers. The interdisciplinary research group "MEMS on MID" supports companies in solving their R&D problems and in exploiting the miniaturization potential of microsystems technology. By using innovative assembly and connection techniques and MID technology, companies can realize a more compact and reliable system structure for their products.
